| Juice Electric - |
First , we must know the juicer is a conical -shaped kitchen utensil used for squeezing, extracting , juice from various foods , especially fruits and vegetables , for the purpose of a drink or for other purposes such as adding flavor to other foods . This juicer is easy to use , but because of the danger that might occur , it must be handled with care
There are 2 types of juicers are manual , or operated by one hand and an electric version .
Manual / Hand - Held Juicer
The workings of the manual juicer is put sliced fruit or vegetable slices with the cut side of the bottom in the middle of the juicer and then pressed to squeeze food and moving back and forth so that the juicer will run out of the skin and leaving only the dregs. The pulp and seeds were then collected along the edge of the juicer , which can then be discarded .
Electric Juicer
Electric juicers mechanically extract juice from fruits , vegetables , spices , etc. . The workings of an electric juicer is to put the ingredients into the juicer and then pressing a button . Juicer then automatically squeezes juice from foods or fruit . Because the mechanical properties , electric juicers are much more dangerous than the manual , and is very important for users to learn the procedures of use juicer is good and right .
Several types of electric juicers on the market :
Centrifugal Juicer - This consists of a blade and a sieve to separate the juice from the juice and pulp outer shell or casing juicers . Centrifugal juicers can not process fiber in the diet , thus causing its use is limited .
Masticating juicer - Juicers this type will be able to ' chew ' whole food section or squeeze the juice from the inside . When food is being crushed , the juice will flow out naturally . Masticating juicer can process fiber in the diet , so they have a broader use than centrifugal juicers .
By the way , electric juicers and blenders differ in function and purpose . Electricity ( masticating ) juicer can separate the juice from the fiber , whereas blenders , like centrifugal juicers and manual , can not .
The theory is that because of the fast moving mechanical parts of an electric juicer blow air into the food , causing oxidation of the larger and faster for important nutrients , electric juicers , especially those with variable speed , are considered higher quality than manual juicers . It has not been proven , despite common belief .
